The international artist Monica Castiglioni creates a collection of 3D printed jewelry for .bijouets
With over 30 years of experience in jewelry design, working between Milan and New York, Monica Castiglioni is known for her use of bronze, a living material that reveals its character through oxidation. Her pieces are often inspired by nature, particularly the flower pistil, a recurring and symbolic element in her work.
Her encounter with .bijouets dates back to 2014. The Italian brand, known for combining 3D printing with craftsmanship, opened up new creative possibilities. Fascinated by the freedom of design and the ability to create complex forms as a single piece, she began her exploration of 3D printing in 2015 through this collaboration.
The collection is defined by modularity: each piece is designed to be combined, transformed and reinterpreted. Jewelry can be worn in multiple ways, allowing endless variations and a highly personalized approach to style. Produced in sintered polyamide, the pieces can also be paired or combined with the designer’s bronze creations, creating a dialogue between technological innovation and material tradition.
