.bijouets at Tate Modern: Malevich-inspired jewelry in the exhibition shop

On 16 July 2014, .bijouets enters the UK market and is featured in the shop of the Tate Modern, the world’s most visited modern art museum. On the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to Kazimir Malevich, running from 16 July to 26 October 2014, the museum shop presents a curated selection of objects inspired by the artist’s vision, among them .bijouets jewelry.

This major retrospective, the first in the UK and the first in over 30 years, brings together works from international collections to explore Malevich’s revolutionary artistic journey. A key figure of the Russian avant-garde and founder of Suprematism, Malevich redefined visual language through abstract geometric forms and bold colors.

In this context, the Tate Modern Shop selected pieces from the .bijouets collection that resonate with this aesthetic. Among them, the Square Chain necklace, designed by Selvaggia Armani, features a sequence of interlinked rectangular elements forming a fluid, lightweight structure that naturally follows the neckline. The Geometrie rings, designed by Charlotte Juillard, are composed of interlocking geometric shapes that overlap and align, creating a dynamic and contemporary ornament.
