.bijouets joins the new permanent collection of the Museo del Gioiello in Vicenza, inaugurated on December 14 for its third biennial edition

With an entirely new selection, the third biennial at Vicenza’s Museo del Gioiello, the jewellery museum promoted by Italian Exhibition Group Spa in partnership with Vicenza Municipality, will see a substantial renewal of its collection.

310 unique and exclusive exhibits, priceless masterpieces, many of which belong to private collections that are not usually accessible to the public or to sector insiders; an original and unprecedented account of the history of jewellery through suggestions from the past and projections into the future. The exhibition is organized into nine thematic rooms, Symbol, Magic, Function, Beauty, Art, Fashion, Design, Icons and Future, each curated by international experts to explore jewelry across history, contemporary practice adn future perspectives.

Within the Design Room, dedicated to innovation and creative processes, .bijouets is represented by two iconic pieces designed by Selvaggia Armani: the Ribbon bracelet and the Shanghai bracelet, highlighting the dialogue between design and 3D printing.

The museum’s new exhibition, curated by Alba Cappellieri, Full Professor of Jewelry Design at the Politecnico di Milano and Italy’s leading jewelry scholar, will be open to the public through the end of 2020.
